Problem :

This project explores how interaction within the living room environment can be enhanced by creating a system that is adaptable and open to growth. We investigated ways to enrich the remote control experience and design a product that evolves alongside users’ changing needs and technologies.

Contribution:

My contribution to this project involved creating the prototypes by integrating patterns into fabric through laser cutting and stitching. Additionally, I contributed to filming and editing the project video.

Solution:

We developed a concept where the remote control is integrated into a pillow and blanket, allowing users to control different apps on the television and see what their friends are watching through simple pats. This creates a more natural and social way to organize watch parties or other shared viewing experiences. The use of pat-based interaction also keeps the product open for future growth and new functionalities.
